Ski Wolf Ridge | Asheville Snowboarding + Skiing

wolf ridge sunset 2About Wolf Ridge:

Wolf Ridge has become one of the southeast’s most popular resorts, offering a big mountain experience that’s family friendly and easily accessible. Located just a half hour from downtown Asheville and only five miles from Interstate 26, the resort holds something for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities and skill level.

Last season the resort expanded its terrain park once again, which holds a range of features, constantly updated to keep skiers and boarders guessing. Trails have also been widened and expanded to offer premier runs for all skill levels, whether its the epic black diamond known as The Bowl, or the long and wide, beginner-friendly Broadway run that goes down the middle of the slopes. In addition to slope expansion we have reduced our number of slope runs to 17 from the original 21. This change will allow us to offer the skier/boarder a better ski experience while making full use of the Lower lodge facility.
