As a long time resident I have to say they have done such a wonderful job improving this lake and park. Clean, safe place to walk. The paved walking path is wonderful. And you can explore the unpaved paths, enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride or mountain bike. I love all the native grasses planted around the entrance. It's so inviting. A great place to fish too!

Great paved trail to walk while pushing a stroller or taking the kids on their bikes 🚲 (might be too far for 6 year olds to walk) 😃. Absolutely gorgeous scenery 🌲 🌳 to enjoy and clear your mind & anxieties. I’ve seen people fishing here and putting a kayak in the lake. Nicely shaded for most of the trail which is 1.8 miles around the loop. There’s also restrooms and playgrounds for the kids to expend their energy. Just be careful when it’s hot bc a lot of it is metal and it’s not shaded. It’s one of my favorite spots when we don’t have anything planned, but want to be a little active.

A wonderful lake with an excellent path around the entire perimeter. The stream that leads into the lake are perfect for my dog to het water and cool off, however, be cautious that the water in the lake itself is rather stagnant. I recommend going in the morning when around 6:15 am to get the best view of the sunrise.
