Davidson River Exercise Trail

Davidson River Running Trail (Brevard): The Davidson River Exercise Trail is a great warm-up run for the more advanced adventurer and a nice workout for the beginner runner. The exercise trail is a 1.5-mile flat, mostly wide loop with some rocks and roots that runs in between the Davidson River and the Davidson River Campground. Just after the English Chapel take a right across the bridge and pick up the trail on the other side of 276. The trail ends just opposite the entrance to the campground.

 

Directions: Head out of Brevard northeast on US-64 E/S Broad St toward E Main St – Continue to follow US-64 E – Turn left onto US-276 N – Turn left toward Sycamore Cir – Slight right onto Sycamore Cir -Turn right onto Davidson River Cir – Slight left to stay on Davidson River Cir – Parking for people who are not camping is to left before the bridge. Cross the bridge and find the trail head to the right just after the bridge.
