Moore Cove Falls

Moore Cove Falls Trail: Looking for a short and sweet adventure in Pisgah? Look no further than Moore Cove Falls trail! This hike is understandably one of the more popular in the area, and for good reason. With a well-marked trail that’s just under 1.5 miles round trip, this 50′ waterfall is perfect for young kids and less experienced hikers.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Along the trail, you’ll encounter creeks to splash in and boulders to climb on. And when you arrive at the waterfall, the real magic happens. Not only is the free-falling waterfall pretty cool, but the expansive dry cave behind it is truly awesome!

Take in the perfect views of the falls and cave from the viewing platform, or venture behind the veil of water into the shady cavern under the protruding rocks. You might even get a little wet from the spray, which makes for the perfect way to cool off on a hot day.

So grab your friends and family, and head to Moore Cove Falls Trail for a fun-filled adventure that everyone will love!
