Running The Brevard Greenway

Running The Brevard Greenway: For those that prefer to pound the pavement rather than hit the trails, the Brevard Greenway is a great community asset. At just under 5 miles of trails, all but a small portion heading into Pisgah National Forest are paved. It’s easily accessible from several parking areas throughout town, making different mileage routes possible. It’s all a straight shot, so any jaunts must be out and back……no looping unless you use other options. There is only one real hill, in between the parking at St. Timothy Methodist Church and the Recreation Department, so it’s also great for beginning runners or those that like it flat.
