Nowhere Boulders | Brevard

Nowhere Boulders | Brevard: This small bouldering area features a handful of short, but fun climbs and is worth a quick stop when in the Brevard area if you’re looking for some easy to moderate boulder problems to play on when in the area. There are a few boulders located just off the John’s Rock Loop when heading downstream along the Davidson River from the Pisgah Wildlife Center. The area has been a popular bouldering area for years, but rarely sees a high number of climbers so be prepared to find your share of moss and debris on the top outs.

Directions from Brevard:  In Pisgah Forest, NC, from the main entrance to Pisgah National Forest, follow Highway 276 into the forest for about 5.5 miles.  Take a left onto Forest Service Road 475 and follow for less than a mile into the parking lot for the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education on the left. Head downstream along the trail running beside the Davidson River staying close to the river for about 1 mile. The boulders are located a short distance up the hill from the trail.
