Great place for a weekend of hiking! Did a lot of the trails with my five month old baby and we all loved it.

The Visitor Center is a must see! They put a lot of time and effort into the educational displays. The trails are fun and there are plenty of sights to see and places to camp. Go with a friend or go with your family, but please, as always leave it better than you found it!

I’ve been here twice. Beautiful and fun hiking. A lot of hills, nice stairs and wooden walkways. Three nice waterfalls and interesting cylinder shaped holes from eddy’s and rocks formed over hundreds of years. Camping is nice but they were out of fire wood the first time we went so we had to harvest wood in the woods.

Best state park I've ever visited. This place has it all: beautiful old growth forests, wildlife, lakes, waterfalls and well-maintained trails for all levels of experience/ability. It isn't crowded. Each employee I met was very nice and obviously loved their jobs and the park.

LOVED!! Did not disappoint. So much to see and do, so many trails to hike. Stunning views- sunrises and sunsets. I even saw staff/volunteers picking up trash. Restrooms were kept clean throughout the park. I really am impressed with Michigan's DNR! Feeling so proud to call Michigan my home. :) Cannot wait to come back as a yearly thing!
