Beautiful hike to a beautiful oasis! Challenging in the heat so best before May. First 4 miles on paved road, next 4 on trail back through the canyon. Bring extra water and a water filter. Very exposed after morning hours so don't forget sunscreen too!

The hike was great and worth the view. We camped overnight and we were the only ones there. There are no signs to tell you that you made it to the falls and the falls are not visible from the trail. But someone was kind enough to mark the entrance off of the trail with two white ribbons!

Due to the summer 🔥 hot 🥵 weather and no rains. The pool is totally dry.

Always a great swimming hole. Not easy to find so do your research and plan ahead. It’s easy to get off trail once you hit the wash. As always, if you think you’re off the trail, BACKTRACK and make sure. Bring way more water than you think you need. Wear a hat and sunglasses and watch for snakes. Don’t go alone! Or at least tell someone when to expect you back. Respect the desert and it might not kill you.
