Bring your own kayak, as there are no rental facilities available nearby.
Breathtaking Views of the Foothills
While kayaking, enjoy the stunning backdrop of the rolling foothills and varying foliage. The lake's relatively quiet atmosphere provides an uninterrupted opportunity to soak in the scenery while paddling at your own pace. Sunsets over the foothills can be particularly captivating, so consider an evening visit if you’re comfortable kayaking at dusk.
Wildlife Encounters on the Water
Kayakers often spot a variety of wildlife, from great blue herons and egrets to turtles basking on logs near the shoreline. The water regularly reflects the presence of fish such as bass and trout, which leap out of the surface on occasion. This is also a popular spot for bird-watchers, so keep an eye out for ospreys circling above.

Beautiful place, interesting hike, if you like climbing rocks. You have to be careful with the ants above and the spiders below. And don't forget the mosquito repellent. The facilities are excellent and you can reserve places to party with friends. For me, it's ideal as a weekend getaway.

This lake holds a special place in my heart. I love free climbing and this is 100% the place to do it. There is always a business right by the water renting paddle boards and kayaks so you should be able to go even if you don’t own one. The lake is beautiful and the rocks are even better, tons of wildlife so keep your eyes peeled!

Very calm and cool place with pin drop silence, filled with fresh and crisp air. One can enjoy here 2-3 hours easily and make their day memorable for life long....
