We loved white water rafting with Adventures on the Gorge. We had Ray-Ray as our river guide, and he was the best we could have gotten! He was hilarious, but he also made sure we were prepared for each situation with each rapid we were about to encounter. We would go on any rafting with him! We can now say we rafted the Gauley, and we enjoyed every moment!

I have been to Adventures on the Gorge twice and I had a great experience both times. All the staff members were extremely nice and knowledgeable. The cabin that I stayed in was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is absolutely gorgeous and the rafting trips I went on were well organized and really fun! The family rafting trip is excellent and great for kids. If you're going to West Virginia, I definitely recommend checking them out!

Our Boy Scout troop planned a weekend trip in August at Adventures on the Gorge staying in their cabins and participating in a whitewater rafting trip. I am not exaggerating when I say that I was completely impressed from the start to the finish of our overall stay with our experience of the awesome program offered through Adventures on the Gorge!! The program and the way they do everything was an amazing experience!! The cabins were great; the breakfast and dinner was fantastic, the whitewater program was awesome. The lunch they provided during our whitewater trip was excellent. They also have a great store with plenty of selection for souvenirs. Our raft guides, Jo Bo and Shawn Riley, really made our trip a fun and great experience. They helped instruct our Scouts on the requirements for a Boy Scout whitewater rafting patch so our Scouts could earn this activity patch during this trip. Great job Adventures on the Gorge!!! We hope to return again next summer... Thank you for an awesome overall experience...

Went on an 4-6 hour whitewater rafting trip through Adventures on the Gorge. Whole trip was a 10/10, nothing they could have done better, everything was top notch, professional and fun. Our trip guide was JV and he did an amazing job explaining the rules and expectations of the trip. Our boat guide was Ben and he was awesome. Before every rapid he told us our boat plan of action and which way to swim. It was most of ours first time, and I felt like I was in great hands, and could trust that I would be okay if something happened. The river side lunch was phenomenal. Can not recommend this company enough.
