Quaint little cross country ski shop. Great shop for gear and attire with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. There are multiple groomed ski trails to explore. You can take a break from the cold and step back inside for a bite to eat and beverages while warming by the fire.

The Cross Country Ski Headquarters is one of the best, if not the best, places for cross country skiing in Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Plenty of skis for rental or purchasing; friendly staff ready to help and instruct; beautiful trails for all skill levels; warm and chatty places (lodge, fire pits) for après-ski; well-priced and tasty cafeteria; and best of all, it does not feel crowded on the trails. We spent an active and nature-loving weekend in this winter headquarter, staying the night in a secluded farm nearby. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience for a first time XC skier. Came in having never XC skied before and the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. I had a lot of questions, spent a long time trying on boots, and never felt rushed. The shop is cool and well stocked and there is also a cafe in back. I am looking forward to returning to ski the trails. Thank you for everything.
I HIGHLY RECCOMEND CROSS COUNTRY SKI HQ!
