One of the bigger tubing facilities in Western North Carolina. They do a good job with the snow conditions. The facilities and lodge are a bit rundown, straight from the 1960s, but they have a nice snack bar and fireplaces. The tubing prices are high, but typical for the area. Parking lot situation can be a bit chaotic and they need an area for pick up and drop off, if you stop to pick up your kids, they get real pushy.

Me and my boys had fun snow tubing here. We got the 6 pm slot on a Saturday and it was perfect. I’d come back again when in North Carolina.

We had a blast! We were traveling in NC up from FL and what a breath of fresh air it was to spend time in the mountains with the cold weather and snow tubing. There are 4 different hills to go down so it keeps the foot traffic spread out and also each hill is a different height/length so you have options! Be prepared to wait a little bit, but honestly the lines are always moving so its never too long of a wait. I do recommend getting there early though for parking, grab a snack/drink, and stand at the entrance before call time if you like to be the 1st in line. Love love love and will definitely go again the next time we are in the area!!!!

We bought the snow tubing tickets in advance. There wasn't a wait time. The parking was on unpaved surface and was chaotic. It can be managed better. Shorter lanes are slower and are good for kids and/or first timers. The longer lanes are fat and super fun.
