Park here to access the hiking and bike trails along the river. The Narrow Gauge trail was a very nice walk. To get there, walk the double-track dirt/grass road across the approach end of the runway and then cross the bridge.

Easy to find, free parking, and lots of great trails for easy hiking, jogging, or biking. I've used this spot several times during my Photography Sessions and this location never fails to create beautiful pictures with lots of textures and elements to work with.

Some of the best winter fat biking in the state at Carrabassett valley. I prefer to start from the airport trailhead because it is a gradual downhill back to the car at the end of the ride.
