Good stretch of park by the river, has cycling and jogging path. Plenty benches to relax and set up picnic in the area. It can be loud on the opposite side to the river due to continuous traffic.

Beautiful campus, well kept grounds, plenty of opportunities to go on the grass or stay on the paved section. Lovely waterfront, in particular I was impressed with the old willow tree by the steps down to the water. The lookout tower is also a fun way to Check out the Somerville skyline and surrounding towns. Tons of bunny rabbits, swans, squirrels, and other cute woodland creatures. Ample foraging opportunities for mulberries if that’s your thing.

I love coming here. It’s a great place for a walk, for a run or even to bike. There’s a rowing team that lets you learn how row in the river. Usually every time I am there, there’s plenty parking available. Just remember that the park closes at dusk, before that, it’s a great place a workout or just some time alone near the water (don’t swim though).
