I recently had the opportunity to enjoy a whitewater kayaking trip with Green River Adventures (on the Green River) with a corporate incentive group while visiting Asheville, NC. The crew at Green River Adventures is outstanding and made the event an experience. They even spent time helping me look for my phone, which i mistakenly lost when I tipped my canoe. Didn't find it, though I appreciate their efforts. After the fact, I had a piece of merchandise that I needed to exchange and they were happy to help. Great customer experience during the visit and afterwards. I highly recommend Green River Adventures and their whitewater kayaking. (I would add more pics, but they are floating with my phone somewhere in the Green River)

This was the best experience ever! I did the upper river kayak tour. For someone who enjoys high thrills but also wanting to be safe, this is the thing to do. I’ve been white water rafting on a group tube but never on a solo kayak, I honestly loved this better! It took some getting used to to steer the kayak but you build up to the class 2 and 3 rapids so you’re a lot more confident conquering them! The guides were very experienced and SUPER detailed and informative on upcoming rapids so you knew what to expect and how to go through it successfully. I went by myself and I had a FABULOUS time!!

On August 12, 2023, at three in the afternoon, we had the incredible opportunity to embark on a thrilling kayaking adventure with Green Rivera Adventure. Although I forgot the name of our guide, I want to highlight that he was a friendly, patient young man with blond, curly hair. Being our first time in white-water rapids, his support and guidance made us feel secure and enthusiastic. The kayak journey through the rapids was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The thrill of navigating the turbulent waters is something we won’t forget anytime soon. As we navigated the river, we were captivated by the natural beauty surrounding us. The facility itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained. It’s evident that Green Rivera Adventure is dedicated to providing visitors with a fabulous environment to enjoy their adventure. The friendly attention we received from every team member was exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt at home due to their warm treatment and constant care. The transfer from the facility to the river was both exciting and picturesque. It added an extra layer of excitement to the experience and allowed us to soak in the breathtaking views of the surroundings. Great upper green river kayak trip! Rachel, Reef, and Santi were excellent informative funny and competent guides. The run was through pretty chill white water, beautiful scenery, and a few challenging class iv drops that the guides helped us with. I’d say moderate activity/adrenaline. It was fun to figure out the inflatable but pretty easy to maneuver over the rocks, until the surprising one came along and you had to get unstuck. The hike at the end was hard having to haul the kayak, but they warn us online and in person that it would tough! Hike was nice though. They have water at the very end of the raft and hike so drink water before going! The online info tells you everything you need to know. I wish I had brought my phone for pictures- next time!
