We got to experience Catamount on a recommendation of a friend, who told us about the aerial park and zipline last weekend. Hadn't been in years; well before COVID screwed us all up. Wow. Call it 5/5, 10/10, A+, whatever you'd like - it was an awesome experience, and we will be back for sure! This review specifically, applies to summer at the mountain, when the aerial park and zip line are in operation. The lodge was open at the base, and offered an excellent place to unwind between adventures. All of the staff and ground maintenance were truly top notch. From the entertaining and hospitable Kevin behind the bar, to the folks at the front desk, to those who get you debriefed and equipped - everyone was eager to help, greeted you with a smile, and made everyone in our group (there were 2 of us, but about 18 total in the park - at no point were we stuck waiting for anyone in front of us, nor did we feel pressure from those behind us - the place is huge, and very well spaced out). For comparison, there are other, unnamed aerial parks in the area; some more "extreme" in the ADK and another at a ski resort not too far away in Mass - where bottlenecking is consistently an issue. Not the case here at Catamount. In 2.5 hours, we were able to complete one green, one blue, and one black diamond (with increasing height, difficulty, and technicality, respectively). We then took a break, grabbed some snacks, and headed for the longest zip line in North America! After a quick tutorial, and two smaller lines, you're treated to the "catamonster" - over a mile long, with speeds over 90 mph! Fear not, you control your speed - and have a surprising amount of control over your body, direction, and speed. Never did we feel uncomfortable - and the views certainly didn't hurt. Can't wait to get back this winter - the new snow machines and night skiing should be a massive welcomed change in the area, and I know we're looking forward to it! Thanks to everyone there today for an awesome time, we'll be seeing you again soon! Ryan

Had a beautiful 80° Sunday afternoon zipping (2x) the Catamounts zips. The 'Catamonsta' (changing your name to suit my North Shore of Mass/Southern NH roots) was an awesome record setting zip going for a distance of over 5000' of zipping. Depending on what chair lift they use (we seemed to get the one with a bit more of an uphill hike) be prepared for a small albeit UPHILL hike with you carrying your own trolley et al around . Additional approx 20#. Was NOT prepared for that. I zipped ALL over, and that was a first. Get those weighted steps in. The second time was a breeze. I think I felt I had to keep up with my group the first time, and I was 11 rider out of 11. The second time, it was at my leisure. Much better. The 'workers ' ....if you can call them that have such a great fun attitude but balanced nicely with safety!. Even the blonde woman running the fire 🔥 chair lift that had the music blasting and had me dancing in my seat was the bomb. What a great job they ALL did. @Catamount zip you were great. The man that zipped near us tracked us @ 56 mph. Like speed and heights this is for you. If not you need to do it at least once. I loved the 2x deal. @Catamount #catamount the ONLY thing you could do better was to add MORE lines. Thats NOT enough!

The zipline experience was a first for all of us and it was a memory to never forget! The staff was very detailed in their work, knowledgeable, yet engaging to talk to. The staff members at each starting position were especially engaging with local knowledge, locations, and history of the course. The rides were thrilling and adventurous with some immaculate views! We would definitely come back again!

We had been wanting to do the zip line for a while and finally went, picking a perfect day. Your staff was great. We had a lot of fun. We chose the option to do two runs and were so glad we did. Highly recommended.

I had a amazing trip, I went up to catamount mountain with my brother and wife. We drove from the city up to Hillsdale it was about 2.5 hrs drive. Once we got to location we sign in and went straight to class they gave us a saftey brief and training. Everyone was every professional and very helpful with our harness. The view of was amazing. I would recommend to try ziplining, it wasn't scary at all.
