June visitors. We hiked up the ski run. Also, we ventured up the path to the weather station. It was a doable hike for non hikers in their 60s. The way down was all path (not ski run). Very pleasant. My son is an avid snowboarder, cyclist, and skier who lives in Colorado. His first question was, "Do they offer down hill biking in off season". While the runs / ski lift weren't open for this, we did encounter several bike enthusiasts on the trail. It's not the same as his angel fire or winter park biking, but it's something.

Visited Blue Hills on a Friday afternoon. At the time when I was snowboarding on the beginner slope, the snow felt very thin, icy, and “rocky”. There were thousands of small to medium icy snow balls that sits on the slope which was extremely hard for me to practice turns properly, and those snow balls did some damage to my snowboard(deep scratches, dents…etc.). It was not a very good experience :(

We went for a hike in May ( not ski outing) Easy hike to top with views of the city and interesting castle at the top. Want a bit of rock adventure, take the blue trail up.

Perfect for a quick skiing trip on a weekend for beginners and intermediate skiers. The office is a bit run down with no lockers. We left the shoes in the car. Parking was not far. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxed that anyone will enjoy it. There were many beginners both children and adults. The resort itself is well maintained for beginner and intermediate level skiers. I imagine that a pro wouldn't enjoy it as much. The lights at night were perfect for a mystic ski date.
