Nicely marked trails. Well maintained. Good view of Boston skyline. Be careful when crossing the highway on foot.

Middlesex Fells is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places to experience Foliage. If you are coming from Boston, just take a T to Oak Grove ( probably orange) and it's just a 15 min walk to the starting point. Be mindful about getting lots of water bottles, snacks and good shoes. Pro tip: Just see the marks on the trees ( 🔵) to be guided during the trek and then you'll reach some beautiful places. We visited the reservoir and the pond. It was a magical experience altogether. To witness it catch some of these photos.

Great for short distance hike, all you need is comfortable clothes, shoes, water, fully charged phone and maybe some snacks lol, 99 bus from wellington to woodland last stop, then 7 minutes walk to Virginia woods trail or if you prefer 20 minutes drive from chelsea everett areas and 25-30 minutes from Revere, MA

We picked the 8 mile hike(assumed we could do it easily🤡). Lots of climbing involved, so it gets you tired real fast. After 5 miles, I almost cried and dragged myself through the rest of it because there were no shortcuts. BUT, the view was well worth it.
