Tim was a great guide and showed us several very interesting places, including something of our interest not on the usual tour. We were a small group of 2, and pleased that Tim didn’t cancel due to size of the group.

Just when you think you know everything about this famous historic Virginia town along the Potomac, Alexandria surprises you with even more to discover. Rich in history and culture, it helped lay the foundation for what would become the nation's capital region—the Greater Washington area. The walking tour is a must if you're visiting DC. Not only will you explore significant historic sites, but you'll also experience the charm of a walkable town filled with restaurants, shops, cafés, galleries, and mor to explore during your visit here. Getting to Alexandria is easy via the Washington Metro. From DC, you can take either the Blue Line or the Yellow Line directly into Alexandria.
