AdvGuides operates as an intermediary marketplace and affiliate booking platform. We connect travelers with independent tour operators, guides, and outfitters; we do not run the tours ourselves.
A trusted path from discovery to booking.
Our booking service brings together experience information and booking connections from the FareHarbor distribution network, Viator, operator websites, and other booking platforms. Depending on the listing, a traveler may complete a reservation through an affiliate link, a booking partner, or directly with the operator.
The guide or tour company named on the listing.
Independent operators control the activity, guides, equipment, schedules, safety procedures, qualifications, insurance, cancellations, and delivery of the experience. When a booking is completed, the traveler’s service agreement is with that operator or booking platform—not with AdvGuides.
AdvGuides may earn a commission or referral fee when a traveler books through one of our links or platform connections. Commercial terms vary by partner and booking path. Paid visibility is labeled; compensation does not purchase a favorable editorial opinion.
Commerce can support the story without writing it.
The Adventure Collective publishes destination guides, how-to journalism, outdoor stories, and recommendations alongside bookable experiences. We also work with Local Adventure Experts, tour operators, travel companies, gear manufacturers, and outdoor brands.
Those relationships support the platform, but editorial judgment remains separate. Sponsored and featured material should be recognizable, relevant relationships disclosed, and factual claims supported by reliable sources.
