Editorial Assessment

This location is highly valued for its excellent mountain biking trails close to an urban center and the opportunity to combine recreation with wildlife viewing and natural forest landscapes. While it offers a very enjoyable outdoor experience, it does not possess the unique geological formations or rare natural features found in higher-ranked iconic landmarks, thus placing it comfortably in a solid mid-tier score.

Best trails in Anchorage and for groomed natural trails I've never seen any better. They aren't fully man-made perfect flowy trails but they are perfectly worked into the hill and are tremendously enjoyable to ride, weather you want XC, singletrack, or downhill.
