The climb from the Ordino is very tough, but the view makes up for it all; you are standing in the middle of Andorra on just about the highest mountain, so the panorama is beautiful.

I climbed it with my wife about 15 years ago. This year, with a temporary lumbar arthrodesis due to an accident, I climbed it with her again, just two and a half months after the surgery. It tested me, and I managed to climb it in one go in 1 hour and 36 minutes from the lower Mereig parking lot. Satisfied. About 800 meters of elevation gain, enough for our current fitness level. The descent was no less demanding.

Still a fair challenge 2740m. But thoroughly enjoyed it.
