I recommend it; it's still hot in early September and there's not much water. But the natural surroundings are beautiful! 😊

The boat is fast and loud so don't expect to see any birds and just enjoy the boat ride through the stamp. The site however has birds so just walk around abit and check the swamp area near the boats you might manage to see somethings. I went in late August and managed to see the following: Hawfinches, Eurasian Green woodpeckers, Pygmy cormorants, European bee eaters, 1 kingfisher, 1 Squacco Heron, 1 gray heron and different species of tits and a wood warbler and spotted flycatchers!

Stunning scenery, far from the tourist crowds. And the road leading there is outstanding by local standards. It would be even better if the boat driver provided more information, perhaps in English for tourists. However, the lady at reception is simply fantastic and happily chats with you in good English. The adjacent motel is a great place to grab a drink afterwards.

Such a great place. We visited last Sunday. We had some problems with the boat but the girl at the office fixed everything. Such a kind person. The skipper even got on his free day out to sail the boat with us. Highly recommended
