Hunter Creek Trail is a beautiful trail in Aspen and one of my absolute favorites. I’ve hiked this trail many times in different seasons, and it’s always beautiful, no matter the time of year. The trail features waterfalls, lush scenery, and amazing views overlooking Aspen and the surrounding mountains. Each season brings something different from rushing water in the spring, to wildflowers in the summer, to incredible colors in the fall. It’s a perfect trail for hiking, running, or just getting outside, and it never gets old. Definitely one of the best trails in Aspen. 🏔️

My Wife and I are a older couple along with our. Dog . We parked in the senior parking lot up on top. Much easier to do a two mile walk from there. Space is limited so arrived early to find a place to park. Get your senior parking permit at the visitors center at the bottom on the right side of the road after passing over the roaring fork river.
