This is a scenic, historic mountain pass located in the Adrar Plateau near Atar, Mauritania. There are terrific views of dramatic, steep-walled canyons, rocky scree slopes, and unusual geological formations. It is near the Agrour Amogjar rock paintings, which included human figures and animals.
