Absolutely Amazing! Take a guided tour and enjoy the best nature has to share with us!

Great destination! Enjoyed the open trail and peaceful outdoor atmosphere.

Absolutely beautiful! The views and flora were amazing! I enjoyed the waterfall (it was a small stream due to lack of rain recently). Amber, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and didn't mind answering questions. She taught us new tricks like using our fox ears!she also gave the group time to explore at the end at our own pace as long as we informed her and stayed on the trails. The hike itself was not over bearing and about a half mile one way. If it has been raining recently, the ground will be wet so shoes with traction is definitely recommended. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place and hidden gem! A real taste of the famous hill country just around 40 minutes west from Austin. The natural preserve has 2 trails to offer the Uplands(self guided) and the Westcave one (guided), the uplands is a serene walk through 2 different bird watcher blind and a spectacular prairie very unique to sight, we saw a pair of deer in that area. The Westcave one is more exciting this one goes down the canyon to sight a grotto and a cave which are incredible to just look at them, this one was guided only and we were skeptical as we are used to hike in solitude with nature but as this site presents a very weak natural features like stalagmites it is a must to visit with supervision, but our opinion on guidance was debunked as our guide Amanda was phenomenal, she was the nicest person ever and explained all the story, plants, curious facts, local tales, etc during the hike which in our opinion elevated the experience a lot, we were very grateful of all of her guided tour, we learned a lot.

The tour was short and the things we saw were not amazing. The leaves have all fallen in this season and there is no feeling of a quiet forest.
