About This Adventure Destination

Ouzoud Waterfalls, located in the High Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, Morocco, present a stunning cascade of water that falls over 110 meters into a mist-laden basin below. As one of North Africa's most breathtaking natural attractions, these cascading falls are surrounded by lush green valleys, traditional mills, and friendly Barbary macaques.

These falls are characterized by their multistep design, with water gracefully plummeting from various heights, creating a magnificent visual symphony. The reddish-brown cliffs contrast beautifully with the vibrant greenery, a scene especially enchanting during spring. Part of the allure is the perpetual rainbow that often graces the misty veil around the falls, adding an ethereal touch to every visitor's experience.

For centuries, local Berbers have lived harmoniously with this stunning environment, utilizing its resources thoughtfully. Traditional water mills, still visible today, are a testament to their historical significance. Visitors can learn more about this unique blend of natural and cultural heritage in the small villages nearby.

Experience the natural wonder of Ouzoud Waterfalls and make lifelong memories in this enchanting slice of Morocco.

Unlucky with the weather, the site becomes a hassle to go down to the waterfall when we could have gone down the side with the steps to avoid falls. Otherwise the place remains unusual and very beautiful even if the crowds of people spoil the charm of the site a little.

The place is beautiful, but it is too intervened by stalls and places for tourists. That plus the tourist groups do not allow you to enjoy nature or the landscape. It is a good trekking, but I think it is not worth it, a long route and walk for the little that you enjoy the place

Great escape in nature with a very nice waterfall and surroundings. It was a great experience and it is not far away from Marrakech.
