It was our Silver Anniversary and we decided to celebrate it in Banff AB Canada in the winter. What an amazing experience. We skied on the slopes at the Sunshine Village Resort, ice skated on the frozen Lake Louise, hiked the Johnston Canyon trails to admonish the spectacular frozen waterfalls, rode the Gondola to the tops of the mountain so we could get a gorgeous view of the town of Banff from high above and to wallow in the beauty of the snow capped surrounding mountains. We relaxed in the Banff Hot Springs...what a joy that was. They keep it at a comfortable 104 Deg F. All of the restaurants that we ate at we outstanding. They really can cook good in Banff :) We explored the town and it's surroundings like the Fairmont Chateau Hotel and the Fairmont Banff Hotel and delightfully enjoyed their splendor and grandeur. It was the most memorable and exciting vacation to date. We love Banff and will be back soon so we can see everything in the sunny weather as well.
