Beautiful hike. There are some scrambles that can be challenging to novice hikers, but the views are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend a pair of hiking poles, especially for your downward journey.

Easy trail done in a few hours. Great views especially during the summer

Easy trail to first butte. Granite blocks are laid end to end until the pitch increases, then they become steps. Inner island views are nice. Second ascent starts easy, but becomes a cairn to cairn hike over natural granite. I needed to use my hands occasionally for purchase. The view from the summit into the Atlantic is grand!
