With many ways to reach the top of champlain mountain, including combining with gorham mountain. It is significantly harder than gorham mountain due to rock climbs but is do-able for basically all hikers that have experience.

Champlain Mountain’s Precipice/North Ridge loop is a thrilling 2.4 mile climb with 1,000  feet elevation gain over exposed ledges, iron rungs, ladders, and narrow trails. It’s short but intense—challenging for those comfortable with heights. The views over Bar Harbor, the ocean, and Cadillac Mountain at summit are amazing. Personally, I found the scramble so fun(but I love rock climbing), and the summit reward well worth the effort—even for a seasoned hiker like me.

Crazy experience hiking to the top along the precipice trail. Highly recommended but certainly not for the faint of heart
