very nice waterfall, it really makes an impression! you have to do a hike about 2 miles hiking, but it's worth it! the parking lot is large, you can even use the 2 located higher and save 0.1 mile walk. there is a fee of $ 5. you can do a loop and see the 2-ripley waterfall, or use a separate parking lot.the trail is well marked

Just visiting Arethusa is worth the trek (but there’s more to explore for those with an adventurous spirit). With Arethusa believed to be the tallest single drop waterfall in New Hampshire, it really is a sight to behold! Reaching it is less than 3 miles at a steady 900’ elevation gain. For experienced hikers, it’s an easy-moderate hike. For less experienced hikers, it’s difficult. Visiting the other falls (Bemis and Coliseum) is about the same distance, but is more difficult. The final stretch to get from Bemis Brook Trail, back onto Arethusa Falls Trail requires a steep rock scramble. For experienced hikers, the full loop is certainly doable, but for less experienced hikers or those not comfortable with scrambles, this would be very difficult and should be avoided.
