Great place to stop on your travels and stretch your legs. Nice nature trail that is, in places, elevated above the wetlands. Bring bug spray!

The great swamp is one of the most beautiful nature preserves in New Jersey. Don't let the word swamp confuse you. It consists of lovely hiking trails mostly of the easy variety. A lot of trees and shade, wildflowers, grasslands and meadows. The visitor center is very informative and the people very friendly. My wife and I love it and plan to go at once or twice every season. I can't wait for autumn and winter for a visit.

Great trail for something quick. Only 2 of the 5 trails on the map are worth walking tho. The other ones I didn’t see many animals
