The best part of this trip was this resort where my family and I spend time together. They have a free parking and a great landscaping. We also enjoy the playground with our friends. We will come back soon.
I dont work here or know people here but i visit banner elk often as i have a family cabin here. Is everyone forgetting the hurricane they just went through? I came up from Florida to help during that time. Maybe cut everyone a little slack and have a little empathy on these local businesses for the next year while they rebuild and everyone can grasp what they went through. Complain directly, stop trying to hurt a town that has been hurting for the last 4 months. I watched this town come together and fix so many things so YOU can come vacation since their economy is driven on tourism. Most of you are going to read this and roll your eyes, how about you hold off and try supporting instead of hurting. Your review does not get you any of your time or money back, it just hurts businesses that have been hurting incredibly financially for the last 4 months. Let them get back on their feet and work out the issues to be better.
Beech was not prepared for MLK weekend crowds. Nowhere near enough parking, even the overflow lot was gridlocked by 11am. Lift lines were not set up for the number of people, and the lifties were helpless. Overall chaos on the mountain. Never seen such a poorly run ski operation.
good place with new fast RFID lift ticket gates. slopes need a bit more love on the icy spots.
