A fantastic, beautiful trail with lots of things to see! We loved all the signs about the plants and interesting facts. I recommend taking a photo of the map before you start or using AllTrails, as there are several different ways you can go. The waterfall was absolutely gorgeous even with hardly any water in early September. We can't wait to do it again in cooler weather! Nice clean bathrooms at the trail head and a good parking lot.

It is a really pleasant hike through quiet woods, easy, calm, and just enjoyable overall. The creek is beautiful, though in summer it runs small; after the snowmelt it turns into a much stronger, livelier flow.
