One of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever taken. The path is well-defined, rocky, and at a steady small incline. It is all wooded and follows a river, which is so nice to listen to through the hike. The lake at the top was beautiful and so worth the hike to get there. Arrived at around 8:30 am and it was relatively quiet at the time. By the time we were headed back a few hours later, there was a steady stream of people and dogs heading towards the lake. We were happy to have arrived before it got very crowded.
