Mount Storm King Trail can be quite challenging for beginners, but it’s absolutely worth the effort. The steep climb and rope-assisted sections near the summit may feel tough, but the stunning views of Lake Crescent from the top make it all worthwhile. If you’re new to hiking, be prepared with proper shoes and plenty of water. The sense of accomplishment at the end is unmatched, and the scenery is breathtaking throughout. A must-do for anyone up for an adventure!

One of the best hikes in the world, if for no other reason than the spectacular and rewarding view at the top! We’ve done it 3 times. Easy access off the Marymere Falls Trail steps from the parking/road. If you stay at the Lake Crescent Lodge, it’s an easy walk on Moments in Time Trail that connects to Marymere Falls Trail. Not particularly easy hike, pretty much straight up, some ropes help at the top for safety. All worth it though!
