LOVED this trail! First off, the parking lot had a sign from the main road, and there was plenty of space to park! The trail was very well maintained, nicely marked, and manageable for any foreseeable hiker. Went with my fiancé this past weekend, and we think that maybe the distance ends up a bit longer than the maps may indicate, but it was a very nice experience! The view was fantastic, at both the north and south cookouts; and we were lucky enough to see many different mushrooms, trees, and waterfalls 🍄 😀 would recommend to anyone who is wondering!

Beautifully maintained trail! Lots of thought and hard work went into building this trail. A brook runs along the trail almost all the way to the top. Perfect for dogs!

Another great trail! Just under 6 miles. The overlooks are awesome! Dog friendly, not sure if it is voice command allowed though. I wouldn't consider this one of the harder trails in the area, the incline seemed easier than others I have done in Newry. Very well maintained/groomed and very well marked! Plenty of parking. Awesome waterfalls by Maine's standards. The water running down was nice for the dogs. We did take longer than the average of about 3 hours, where we stopped and had a snack and meandered with the dogs.
