View from highway 38 looking north. Sugerloaf Mountain is 9952' elevation and they say the trees touch 10,000

Great hike, there are no views at the peak since you are surrounded by trees so if that's your thing you might want to hike somewhere else. The hike is a little over 12 miles with over 3000ft of elevation gain. Not too tough if you hike often. Really enjoyed it as there was no foot traffic when I did it during the week.
