Editorial Assessment

This preserve is a charming natural area with excellent opportunities for local wildlife observation and gentle hiking. While it provides important habitat and a pleasant outdoor experience near Bluffton, it lacks the distinctive geological or ecological features that define the world’s most iconic natural landmarks. Its value lies in regional conservation and recreational use rather than global uniqueness.

Beautiful walking trails. Some areas were wide, others smaller. Varied terrain. There are several trails. When you arrive you can access a map in your phone. Each trail provides the distance.

Wasn't even there long and my dog had at least 10 ticks. I had 3-5 on me and so did my boyfriend. We went here because there aren't many other trails to hike around here. Not sure that we'll go back here though.
