Beautiful area, but the trail runners made it not as enjoyable as it could have been. Also, a lot of dog poop on the ground and left behind in bags not so great. But the area is really pretty and the hike through Bear Canyon was challenging. There is no parking lot. You park in the adjacent neighborhood. You also have to walk about a mile to the actual trail. No restrooms so lots of toilet paper left behind by people who for some reason can't take it with them. Saw some bear poop!
