Very pretty and moderate hiking.

The trailhead is a small unpaved parking area with no services. There is a place to fill out a permit for hiking.

Very muddy on October 8th, and the trail is not well marked at all. You basically are walking along the gulch/river area, but very hard to find any trails beyond 0.5 miles in, due to poor markings. The first half mile was pretty, though, but not sure it is worth stopping for.

Very limited parking. Hike the lower portion downstream. Trail not well maintained in a few areas. The trail, wash, and cattle trails intermixed. Signs of deer but very dry area in October.
