I do not recommend going to thos place at all. The website is misleading about shuttle service it should say in all caps "YOU WILL HAVE TO CARRY YOUR KAYAK UP A STEEP INCLINE OVER A LONG DISTANCE WITH SOME SWITCHBACKS"... the park ranger was nowhere to be found when I was looking for someone to ask about the shuttle or maybe help me move my kayak with the truck by the ranger station/"put in" but as soon as I crossed the sign that said construction area to come down by his truck and get my kayak he was there ready to give me a ticket right away. I managed to talk him in to not ticketing me but I'm sure they are exploiting others... 0 stars until construction is complete I'd say don't bother.
