Bike review: advanced for sure 60min up 30 min down. Both ways pretty tough. This trail is best bor biking, not hiking. The drrive up is for real, I would drive it with a car.

Beautiful trail, but I will clarify two things I could not make out from other reviews: 1- This is a great mountain biking trail. Well maintained trail, high banking turns, jumps, the whole deal. 2- If you are here to hike, the first uphill portion is your option. Once you go past the peak, call it the mining cabin you will come across it is time to turn back. The downhill portion of the trail is not really good for hiking and it is used for mountain biking. Come see the beauty, take it all in, know your objective. Hike up and back, bike the whole loop. Quick bonus note, have a vehicle with good ground clearance, part of the road driving to the trailhead has deep wash out spots that your Subaru or SUV with running boards will clear. Now go enjoy.
