The Giant's Causeway is an iconic Irish landmark that shouldn't be missed. Legend keeps the place alive. It's a magnificent landscape that the earth offers us to admire. Overtourism could threaten this place, so please respect it.

🌊 My insider tip at the Giant’s Causeway 🇮🇪 Having visited the Giant’s Causeway several times, I deliberately wanted to take a different route this time – and chose the Yellow Trail. And I can say: It was absolutely worth it! Instead of the crowds on the well-known trails, I was almost alone. The cliff path offers fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the famous basalt columns in the background, and the spectacular Causeway Coast – a perspective that many visitors never experience. Another plus: The loop trail practically ends at the Bushmills Railway. The historic narrow-gauge railway connects the Giant’s Causeway with the charming coastal town of Bushmills, following the route of the former Giant’s Causeway Tramway for much of its length. If you like, you can take the train back after your hike or end the day with a relaxing ride along the coast – a real highlight, not just for railway enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the Bushmills Railway wasn't running at the station 🚉 For me, the Yellow Trail is therefore another great way to discover the Giant's Causeway if you've already seen the main route: impressive scenery, wonderful peace and quiet, spectacular views, and to top it all off, a ride on a historic train – it doesn't get much better than that. 💚 Who among you knows the Yellow Trail or has ever ridden the Bushmills Railway?
