The Edzná site is about an hour's drive from Campeche. There is free parking on site. When we went there, it was early in the morning, we were the only ones on the site. Entrance costs MXN$100 per person. There is a small museum at the entrance, very pretty, well done with many steles, still very well preserved, which were found on the site. A rare example from the Yucatan where we can see floors with vaulted rooms, the Edzná site is grandiose. The site is well maintained, there are explanatory panels in English at points of interest and you can still climb the structures except the main one and its 5 floors. Far from the tourist hordes of Chichén Itzá, the site of Edzná is a fairly quiet alternative if you want to visit a little off the beaten track. Toilets on site, the staff is friendly and smiling. Allow around 1h30 for the visit, the site is quite large.

Absolutely wonderful ruins! Super close to Campeche and totally worth the visit. The entrance fee is just 100 pesos, and what you get in return is amazing - massive, well-preserved structures with almost no crowds. You might get the whole place to yourself

Very cheap ruin at 100 pesos per person and you are almost alone there. Hardly any other tourists and lots of animals to observe. Great!
