Great hike from the Blue Ridge Parkway to the falls area. The trail is under the shaded forest canopy. Round trip is roughly a mile in total. You park at the Looking Glass Rock overlook at mile post 417. Then cross the road to begin the hike. When you reach the falls, there are many rocks and boulders to jump on and climb to cross the creek and continue up for more falls views. The water is crystal clear. Some people and their dogs enjoy going in the cool water for even more fun. I highly recommend this hike to the falls!

It's definitely not what it was before Hurricane Helene, the pool is gone along with the bridge so it's not really a swimming hole anymore. Very sad to see it go but it's still beautiful. Also, it's on the MtS trail and you can hike from there to Graveyard Fields on foot.

I was just visiting skinnydip falls trail on nude hiking day June 21!! Dozens of people did the nude hike that day and so did I and my gf. Weather wasn't to hot to swim but the naturist hike was, alot of down trees from past Storm floods that others have said. I'm definitely coming back labor day weekend! ,#hikenudeusa
