Daniel Ridge Falls was such a great hike. Recommended from a family we met at a local restaurant, we took their advice to go towards the left side first instead of the right to immediately end up at the falls. By going to the left, you walked along the stream the entire time uphill which was very motivating to take breaks to go by the water. We met several hikers on the trail that were incredibly friendly, and told us they visit it often. It is easy to miss the marker to stay on the loop towards the falls, so note that if you DO NOT need to go over the water area with larger rocks - turn back as you went too far (we actually had a group of hikers guide us incorrectly). There is a small, and I mean very small, pathway to see the top of the waterfall, but it could be dangerous so be careful if you find it along your hike. The waterfall was nice, but definitely needed maintenance - no swimming, many branches down, etc.
