Beautiful spot to stay. The long drop was basically maintained but the fenced off areas meant to grow trees within for more shade haven’t been cared for. So much time and money spent to establish the compounds and no NP rangers were out there watering the trees. We poured the remaining water from our tanks on the nearest trees to give them a chance. Otherwise, roads were fine and animals aplenty. Unfortunately we saw a wombat with a serious mange infection. We reported it but as expected, no one has contacted us for more information from NP at the time of writing this review. Pick your game up NP.

Brilliant campground. Very large space, with only 6 bookings (of up to 10 people each) possible. When we were there, all 6 spots were taken and there was a total of 13 people. The toilet was very clean and not smelly. The sites have a table and seat combination and a fire pit ring with a bbq plate. The only negative was the river had no water in it when we were there, despite the heavy rain during the day. The drive in was easy for 2WD vehicles. Motorcycles have to watch out for a couple of slippery spots when it has been raining but it dries off quickly. Great place to get away from artificial light for star gazing.
