With an impressive drop of 771 meters, Gocta Waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls in the world. To fully experience this magical place, we recommend traveling to Cocachimba and spending the night there. This allows you to set off early the next morning and enjoy the approximately 4- to 6-hour hike at your leisure – either independently or with a guide. The trail leads through fascinating flora and breathtaking landscapes. Keep your eyes peeled: with a bit of luck, you might encounter rare bird species along the way, such as the colorful Gallito de las Rocas (Rogue Bird).
