Fleece Lodge at Chad Lakes I am very satisfied with my stay in this wonderful environment. We were greeted by adorable swans and Wendy the chicken. The view of the lake was like a postcard. Also, being able to peek at the herds of sheep and dairy cows from our room window was fantastic. You should definitely experience it! I highly recommend it. Takako, Japan

We have had an absolutely super stay at Chad Lakes Fleece Lodge in the Cotswolds. Damion and Harumi are your friendly hosts who have thought of everything needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. You can see they are very proud of their lodge which is a sizeable luxury pad able to sleep six in three bedrooms with ample space to entertain inside and outside including parking for multiple cars. It is also dog friendly they will enjoy the surroundings just as much as their humans 🐶 In the grounds of your lodge you will find two lakes with fishing and a rather lovely hen called Wendy who takes a keen interest in visitors 🐓 It is summer so we enjoyed a BBQ and outdoor refreshments with views across the fields followed by dark skies and stars. We also enjoyed touring the surrounding towns as the location is central to good days out for strolling, eating and a well deserved drink. A highly recommended lodge in tranquil surroundings that would suit groups, families or just a treat for two.

I found Fleece Lodge delightful. A peaceful, quiet, relaxing countryside home, with views over the farmer’s fields. The highlight for me was watching the local shepherd and his border collie rounding up sheep in the field next to us, and herding them to a new location. Really in the country! The cottage is very well equipped and tasteful furnished, with all the latest tech in entertainment systems and gaming. Spotlessly clean with everything in perfect condition. For me this makes it still more relaxing as there were just no niggles to distract me. Damien in a wonderful host, providing us with local “inside” knowledge as to where to visit and eat, with all the relevant internet links provided. We therefore found such lovely places to visit, paddle in lovely streams, rest on benches in the shade under old trees and watch the world. Need to go back to check out the things we did not get time to enjoy more!

Where do I start? Absolutely beautiful location with one of the best hosts we have had the pleasure of meeting. The cabin easily sleeps 6 people and has a great amount of space. Everything is clean and tidy and the host has not scrimped on mod cons. We had a very enjoyable relaxing break at chad lakes and will certainly be coming back to this hidden gem. Thanks Damion for your hospitality.
