The Upper Falls have a drop of approximately 33 meters, about a third of the height of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. Nevertheless, it's well worth visiting the viewpoints and taking in the impressive waterfall. The sheer volume of water plunging over the cliff edge is breathtaking. The location in the heart of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is particularly beautiful. A worthwhile stop and a great addition to visiting the Lower Falls and Artist Point.
